Thanks to all the people who have supported the Library Project!
Creating something positive that supports a community that Ian loved being a part of (New Orleans), and that he deeply cared about, helps reinforce the feeling that we are still connected to Ian in a meaningful way. The contributions of many kind and generous people have gone into making this a possibility, and we are truly grateful and touched by the outpouring of support that still continues, even now, more than four years after Ian left this earth. If Ian had lived a full life we believe he would have made the world better in his own unique way, contributing to the world through what he cared about most, pursuing some unanticipated approach, we are sure. (That would be typical of him.) We will never know precisely what he would have done had he stayed with us longer, but we do hope that what has been made possible through the Library Project helps to enable some of the same kinds of things that Ian might have pursued himself.
